Pop Star Party Experiences
The Sound Cube offers two party experiences, one for between 9-16 people, and one party experience for up to 8 people.
Your Party Package includes:
A two-hour recording studio party experience!
The party group will be recorded singing a track of your choice from our list in a professional recording studio by a qualified sound engineer. Feel like a pop idol as you and your friends have fun in the studio laying down your track!
Personalised CDs of the recording for all party-goers:
All party-goers will receive a personalised studio quality CD within a week of your session so that you can impress all your friends and family! Your CD will be full-colour, with your group photo on the front cover, and your photo printed on the face of the CD.
DVD mini-movie of the performance: 
Party-goers will be filmed dancing and singing along to their song as though they’re on stage performing to their fans! Two DVDs per group are included within the price of the party session for 9-16 people. One DVD is included within the price of the party session for up to 8 people.
Refreshments:
After the first hour the singers will have a break during which drinks and snacks are provided. Please bring a birthday cake if you wish. The Sound Cube regrets that sandwiches or other extra food cannot be brought in due to licensing and health and safety regulations. Kosher biscuits and snacks for special dietary requirements are permitted.
The Sound Cube Pop Star Recording Parties are suitable for 7yrs+.

We can provide you with more information on our range of products and services via email – info@thesoundcube.co.uk – but we can only accept session bookings via telephone.
Contact us to check on availability for party bookings. To confirm a booking a deposit of 50% of the total price is required.
Deposit payment methods:
- Credit Card – call 01923 222654 to place a booking over the telephone
- Cheque – to be made payable to Junior Scholars Limited. Post to: 9 The Parade, Watford, Herts, WD17 1LQ
- In person – drop in to the shop, where you can pay by cash, credit card or cheque

Before your party session:
1) Choose your song:
The party girl/boy and their friends must choose a backing track from our list before they arrive. It should be a song they know and enjoy singing.
It is important that you contact The Sound Cube with your choice of backing track at least a week before your session to enable us to make the appropriate preparations so we can make your day an unforgettable experience.
If you have a favourite track which is not in our set list, call us on 01923 222654 and we may be able to order it for you. There is a charge of £5.00 to order in new tracks. We require one week’s notice at the minimum for all custom tracks.
2) Practise at home:
It is important that the party-goers practise the song and also think about who would like to sing which lines/verses before their session. We sing all the choruses together.
They should also think about easy dance actions for their song. The Sound Cube party staff will help choreograph the dance, and direct the DVD mini-movie.
The better prepared the singers are, the better their CD & DVD will look and sound!

Terms and conditions
Cancellations will be subject to a minimum charge of £30 rebooking fee, If rebooking your session is not possible a 50% cancellation fee may be charged.
There is a minimum charge of £188 on weekends for parties. Weekends run from 4pm on Fridays to 4:30pm on Sundays.
Responsibility cannot be taken – nor refunds given – for any recording session starting late through no fault of The Sound Cube @ Junior Scholars or sessions which are disrupted or incomplete due to customer misbehaviour. Any breakages will have to be paid for in full.
After your session
After each session we try to have the CDs and DVDs ready for collection within 1 week. Please note that our sound engineer spends a lot of time after the session editing, tuning and mixing your recording, burning and printing the CDs and creating, editing, printing and burning the DVDs. A lot of work goes into creating professional CDs and DVDs that you can keep forever, all for great value prices.
